Hello, my beautiful friends!
Have you ever had to cover acne? Personally, I always try to cover acne and post acne when I do makeup.
Every single day I get questions on my Instagram account from girls asking how I manage to cover acne and post acne scars.
Today I will try to share my experience and show how you can hide acne and other facial skin defects without using tons of cosmetics.
Let’s Cover Acne Together!
Firstly, apply silky, lightweight Benefit The POREfessional PRO Balm Primer to minimize pores and make skin smoother. Pat the balm on problem areas and blend it with fingertips.
Also, apply MAC Strobe Cream (Peachlite) on cheekbones, chin, nose-tip and above the eyebrow to achieve the healthy glowing effect.
Apply green concealer (I prefer Urban Decay Naked Skin) on the redness. Green color helps to hide red undertones on the skin.
It’s time to apply the foundation.
My favorite product is Clinique Redness Solutions. It’s not comedogenic, doesn’t cause new acne and doesn’t clog pores. Furthermore, it perfectly covers all flaws.
I prefer to apply it using a brush or beauty blender.
Contouring time! I do classic contouring.
Please notice how I apply and blend concealers: I do it by tapping not to damage previous layers.
Let’s set everything with the transparent powder.
Sometimes I use a little trick: I apply additional powder directly on breakouts and a little bit around breakouts because it allows setting this area better.
In addition, I add some bronzer after I applied powder.
Now let’s add a little bit of blush and highlighter to make skin tone fresher.
Finally, as the final touch, apply setting spray to mix all layers together. I prefer to blow the face to better set everything.
